DINNER, DECIDED
Send three memorable words or one handy link.
Yes or no at your own pace. No guilt, no peeking.
When everyone says yes, dinner practically picks itself.
THE NO-NONSENSE DINNER GUIDE
Choosing dinner gets awkward when one person names every option and everyone else says “I don’t mind”. No Forking Idea gives the whole table the same local menu, keeps each vote private, and only reveals the places that meet your group’s matching rule.
Pick the town, city or neighbourhood you are actually meeting in. A three-mile radius is a useful city starting point; ten or twenty miles makes more sense for rural tables. Widening the search before adding narrow cuisine filters usually produces the best mix.
New tables begin with Open now selected. Places with no published hours can remain in the mix, clearly labelled as unknown. Closed places are never added silently: if you are planning ahead, the host can deliberately switch to Any time.
Everyone mode is ideal for a small table where one veto matters. Majority keeps a larger group moving, while Two yeses is good for building a shortlist. Individual swipes remain private whichever rule you choose.
